5×12 Standard Galvanized Man Basket for Masonry Work – Regina, SK

This project features one of our 5×12 ft standard man basket models, supplied to a masonry contractor operating in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.

The basket was intentionally delivered in a fully hot-dip galvanized finish, making it well-suited for masonry and exterior construction work where frequent exposure to water, wet cement, mortar, and concrete slurry is unavoidable.

Masonry environments are particularly harsh on steel equipment due to constant moisture and highly alkaline materials. Hot-dip galvanizing provides a durable zinc coating that protects the steel from corrosion, significantly reducing maintenance requirements and extending the overall service life of the man basket.

Unlike painted or surface-coated platforms, galvanizing offers complete protection inside tubing, welded joints, and structural connections, ensuring long-term durability even with regular washdowns and daily jobsite use.

This 5×12 standard man basket is rated for a 6,000 lb load capacity with an approximate empty weight of 1,100 lb, providing a stable and dependable working platform for masonry crews handling tools, materials, and personnel at height.

The unit was loaded and secured on a flatbed trailer for transport to Regina, where it was delivered to the customer and placed into active service shortly after arrival.
